Seriously, we know how difficult it can be to make the time to think of a meal, go to the grocery store, prep, and cook even one meal each day. Which is why we’ve done the longest and hardest parts for you. That’s also why we come up with creative and delicious meal options made with only fresh, locally grown ingredients, prep them for you, and bring them to your doorstep.
The only steps left are putting it together and eating it, and trust us, if we could do those for you, we would. But, we understand that even finding the 15 minutes to do the last steps can be difficult, which is why we came up with some tips on how you can incorporate 15 minutes of cooking each day.
- We know its hard, but trust us on this, GO ON DO NOT DISTURB! When looking back at our day, we can all say we spend more time than we like scrolling on our phones. Would you believe us if we said that the average person spends 1 HOUR AND 40 MINUTES on social media? Well, it’s true! With this extra time, not only can you spend 15 minutes with our meals, but, you can even spend some time to read a book, go for a walk after dinner, or (what we would recommend), some dessert.
- SET ASIDE 1 HOUR OF TIME TO WORK UNINTERRUPTED. Have you ever noticed that before you take a lunch break, or before a long meeting, you take the time to really focus and get the most done? This is because when you know that you’re about to be unavailable, you feel more compelled to finish what you need to get done. If you set aside one specific “power hour” each day, you will find yourself being much more productive, and in the end, completing your work a bit earlier than usual. A great power hour could be from 11-12pm right before lunch or 4-5pm, right before dinner so you feel you’ve earned a bit of time to enjoy some good food.
- PLAN AHEAD. There’s nothing more stressful than not knowing which task you should prioritize or what their deadlines are. By taking a few extra minutes each day to plan ahead, you will save yourself a lot of wasted time stressing over what needs to get done and give yourself more time to enjoy a fresh homemade meal.
- STAY ORGANIZED. The best way to plan ahead is to stay organized. Make yourself a to-do list of all of the things you need to get done for the day, the week, and the month. This way, you stay focused and save time as you plan ahead, and be more productive as you check off your goals on your list! The last one being enjoy your Meisterdish!
